Teaching Materials for the Center for Nonviolent Communication

A message from Kathleen Macferran, a Center for Non-Violent Communication Certified Trainer:

The Center for Nonviolent Communication is an international organization that has expressed a desire for musical materials to teach Nonviolent Communication to school children. Rainier Chamber Winds is responding by commissioning musical settings of two children's stories designed to tell the heart of Nonviolent Communication work through the delightful giraffe metaphor (the giraffe is the land animal with the largest heart--Nonviolent Communication is a language of the heart).

This is a personal interest of mine, to use music to promote peaceful communication and understanding worldwide. We appreciate any donation toward this project.

Please call the Rainier Chamber Winds' office at (206) 780-1021, send e-mail to rcwinds@aol.com, or you may mail your donation to Rainier Chamber Winds, P.O. Box 10009, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110
